Truth, Whose Truth?

We live in a time where things are not usually as it seems. Things that were held sacred are now being questioned and discarded. Morality and decency has become a matter of perception and not what society holds or should hold dear! We forgot that when the fabrics of decency and morality break down in a community, chaos, fear, uncertainty and unspeakable evil run amok. The Bible described the behavior of these times in this manner: “And because they did not think it worthwhile to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them over to a worthless mind to do what is morally wrong…Although, they know full well God’s just sentence – that those who practice such things deserve to die – they not only do them, but even applaud others who practice them” (Romans 1: 28, 32).
Sadly, all these irreverent behavior and more have infiltrated the Church. Instead of bringing more enlightenment as their proponents within the Church thought, it has brought confusion, distress, breed faithlessness, made the people of God more susceptible to manipulations and subject to strange doctrines. Recently, a man of God declared ‘Truth is not absolute; it is all a manner of perception’. Meaning, what can be true to me, may be a lie to someone else depending on where he stands in the argument. He was believed and applauded! If truth is not absolute but a matter of perception, it ceases to be truth. What makes truth Truth is its absoluteness; any other, it is no longer truth no matter the perception or coloration given to it.
The world tells us there are many variations of truth. In fact we are encouraged to live our ‘own truth’. Now, that is the world’s system and its precepts, such must not be brought into our lives as sons of God. When we do this, we open our lives up for manipulations and failures. Consider this: If truth is not absolute, then there must not be judgment at the end of life, because what yardstick would God use to judge which is right and which is wrong? But we know as sons of God, that there is one judgment, and GOD is the Righteous Judge! Beloved, God’s word is TRUTH! There are no variations to it. It has never failed from the beginning of creation and is NOT about to fail! We cannot on one hand hold on to God’s Word (as absolute truth) and hold on to the deceptive and manipulative teachings of the world system disguised as the ‘new truth’! It makes it look as if God’s Word is ineffective and inoperable!
Beloved, God’s Word is powerful and is TRUTH! It has been proven and tested over and over again for centuries and it NEVER failed. It is not about to fail in your life! The false truth may have all the facts and semblance of reality, but it is FALSE and will fail! However, for God’s Word to be effective in your life, you MUST stand with Jesus Christ because He is the ONLY REALITY AND TRUTH: "So, my dear friends, don't get thrown off course. Every desirable ad beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle. He brought us to life using the true Word, showing us off as the crown of all His creatures" (James 1:16-18, MSG).
The children of Judah were in a similar dilemma, when the king of Syria, Sennacherib, threatened to destroy them (Isaiah 36 and 37). It was true that he destroyed all other countries and their gods that stood against him. Based on the reality on ground, with his wealth and vast army, Judah was minced meat for him to overrun. However, when the people chose to believe and stand with God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth; God sent ONE angel into the enemy's camp, and he killed 185,000 Syrian soldiers in one night. Beloved, Sennacherib’s truth at the time was a lie. The fact that he laid waste to those countries and their gods was not enough for him to lay claim to Judah.
Beloved, the weapon of the enemy to advance his lies against you is FEAR (False Events Appearing Real), but you have the Creator of the heavens and the earth in your corner to repel and destroy him! The fact that these ‘truths’ in the account were real only show that God allowed them, if He didn’t they would not have occurred: “Have you not heard? I designed it long ago; I planned it in days gone by, I have now brought it to pass...” (Isaiah 37:26a). The unpleasant happenings in your life may be real but is NOT the truth of God concerning you! Beloved, just as Hezekiah cried to the Lord and He answered him, so is the Lord ready to hear your call. Do not buy into the false truth about your situation; Jesus Christ is only a call away. And He is waiting to hear your voice and leap to your defense.
In conclusion, Jesus Christ is coming! He has declared that He IS the Truth, Way and Life. There is no other, and no name given to humans on earth to be saved than His. Don’t allow the disciples of hell masquerading as sons of light deceive you. There is ONLY one Truth, and His name is Jesus Christ! Meaning, anything that negates Him in your life is a lie and not ‘your truth’ or a ‘new truth’. God bless you as you open your heart to Him, in Jesus Christ name!
