Jesus Christ Is The Only Way


      A minister was ministering to the congregation the other day and he made some dangerous pronouncements. According to him, majority of the people of the world serve the Creator of the Heavens and the earth; what differentiates each group from the other is the WAY to God. He then concluded that it doesn't matter the way one tries to reach God as long as such arrives at His Feet.  It was almost impossible for me to believe that a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ would teach such blatant heresy and the congregation will cheer him on. Then I remembered that the Bible warned the ministers: “not to teach other doctrine or to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies. These promote empty speculations rather than God’s plan, which operates by faith” (1Timothy 4:3b-4). These ministers and many like them are teaching a strange gospel to the people that cannot help the people attain the primary goal God has set for them which is an eternity with Him free of sorrow, pain and death. Unfortunately, what they serve up is guaranteed to lead many to an eternity in the torments of the everlasting fires of torture, misery and pain.
      You can’t blame the ministers wholly, because so many in the congregation desire messages that will teach them how to ‘better’ them ‘selves’. Sadly, the more these messages are churned out the worse the ‘selves’ get. By their fruits we know who and what they believe because the fruits are the evidences of their ‘walk’ with God. Beloved, there is no way a man can make it to the Almighty God, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth outside of the rules He Himself had set. Our God is Holy and dwells in an unapproachable light where there is no hint of darkness (wickedness): “…the Only One who has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom none of mankind has seen or can see, to whom be honor and eternal might. Amen” (1 Timothy 6:16) “…God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in Him” (1 John 1:5b). If we believe the above Scriptures, why do we think we can advocate a teaching that deludes the people to think they can get to Him on their own? Do you think on your own recognizance, intellect, prowess or by some parameters you set for yourself you can walk in holiness and righteousness and eventually end up in heaven when you die when the Bible clearly states: “When the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, He said to Himself, I will never again curse the ground because of man even though man’s inclination is evil from his youth…” (Genesis 8:21) and “The heart is more deceitful than anything else and desperately sick – who can understand it” (Jeremiah 17:9)? You are truly on your way somewhere, but I can confidently assure you that it is not to the God that created the Heavens and the Earth!
       Jesus Christ declared to His disciples: “…I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). The foregoing is the foundation of the Good News (Gospel), that carries within it the birth, death, resurrection and return of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ to take His own and to judge the world. To get to God the Creator of the Heavens and the earth, we must of a necessity go through Jesus Christ: “While he was still speaking, behold, a shining cloud [composed of light] overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, This is My Son, My Beloved, with Whom I am [and have always been] delighted. Listen to Him” (Matthew 17:5)! Any other way leads to another god and eventually to the fires of hell. In the Book of Hebrews, we were told clearly: “Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). If you believe He exists, you must learn how to get to Him and the only way is Jesus Christ: “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to people by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
       Beloved don’t believe and get side tracked by the dangerous ministers that declare we serve the same God with people that don’t believe or accept that Jesus Christ is both God and LORD. May the Lord help you to stand and remain standing despite the influx of terrible winds programmed to derail the true sons of God in Jesus Christ name. God bless you.

It Is Time To Raise A Cry For Nigeria!
