“Therefore let us
approach the Throne of Grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and
find grace to help us at the proper time” (Hebrews 4:16).
Looking at the canvass of the world right now, there is
fear, pain, chaos, confusion and death. One would think with all that is going
on, the enemy and his agents will take a break from their evil works. Not
really! Rather, they reinforce the pain, confusion and chaos by spreading fear
through every platform they can lay their hands on. We are warned in the Bible
not to fear their fear: “Do not call
everything an alliance these people say is an alliance. Do not fear what they
fear; do not be terrified” (Isaiah 8:12). But we are encouraged to stand
and remain standing in our faith in Christ Jesus: “As you have therefore received Christ, [even] Jesus the Lord, [so]
walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves) in union with and conformity to
Him” (Colossians 2:6, AMP). Since fear is spread by what people hear and
take to heart, we know that faith in God comes to our hearts by the hearing of
God’s Word! Beloved, so as not to succumb to the wind of fear that is sweeping
across the land, we must immerse ourselves in and feed on His Word daily. God’s
Word is divine, powerful and able to save as many as believe in Him. He had
promised to always be with us every step of the way as long as we belong to Him
“…And remember, I am with you always, to
the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20b).
Sadly, so many quote Scriptures but
they do not know the God behind the Scriptures they quote. God’s Word is not talisman
neither can it be used as such! The Word of God can only become reality for
you if you have surrendered your will to Him: “Because you have made the Lord –
my refuge, the Most High – your dwelling place, no harm will come to you;
no plague will come near your tent. For He will give His angels orders
concerning you, to protect you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:9-11). Do you
know Him? If you desire to, bow your heart now and ask Him to come into your
life and be your Lord and Savior.
For you that know Him, don’t be swayed by the
winds of fear, but trust and be confident in the Lord: “You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose
mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he
commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You” (Isaiah
26:3, AMP), in Jesus Christ name. God bless you!
