"I saw among the inexperienced, I noticed among the youths, a young man lacking sense" (Proverbs 7:7 HCSB). We have entered once more the season when many will lose their senses and throw caution to the wind in the guise of celebrating 'love'. Sadly, many at this time will stumble, misstep, and fall on their way to destiny; as a result, many will miss their path completely because of a few minutes of pleasure in celebrating 'love': "So she seduced him with her pretty speech and enticed him with her flattery. He followed her at once, like an ox going to the slaughter. He was like a stag caught in a trap, awaiting the arrow that would pierce its heart. He was like a bird flying into a snare, little knowing it would cost him his life" (Proverbs 7:21-23 NLT).
For as many as have eternity in their hearts, they know that Heaven and Hell are REAL. It is a place everyone on earth will end up in after they exit this life. Our actions here on earth choose either of these destinations after we exit the earth, there is no in-between! Don't be deceived either, humans are not atoms and they will not become atoms at the end of life. The guarantee of this thought is the conscience God has put in every human heart: "In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively, for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. Opposition to truth cannot be excused based on ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible, such as his eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse" (Romans 1:19-20, TPT).
The world has been experiencing birth pangs: famine, earthquakes in diverse places, and the like. All these points to the fact that the world is winding down and getting prepared for a major shift. The devil is moving his pieces into position across the board, sadly many wonderful sons of God are still sleeping and unaware of what is going on around them. Most of us are more concerned about earthly matters that we are losing sight of our heavenly home. We have made an art of preparing people to be successful here on earth that we scarcely tell them or even remind ourselves about the Soon Return of the Master!
This attitude is not new. Jesus told His disciples the parable of the servants that felt their master was delaying in returning: "But what if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master delays his coming, and who knows when he will return?’ Because of the delay, the servant elevates himself and mistreats those in his master’s household. Instead of caring for the ones he was appointed to serve, he abuses the other servants, both men, and women. He throws drunken parties for his friends and gives himself over to every pleasure" (Luke 12:45, TPT). Unfortunately, this is the state of many in the Body of Christ.
Many have said in their hearts, the Master is delaying, they have elevated themselves and created classism within the Church! Because of this wickedness, many errors have crept in and are taking over the pulpits and the hearts of the congregation. Beloved, it doesn't matter what you say in your heart, whether to believe His soon return or not, the Midnight Cry has gone out and we must prepare to meet Him at His coming!
The Midnight Cry is to warn us that this age is about to end, a new age is about to dawn! Every man will be part of it, in one way or the other. As children of God, do you want to be with the Groom as a sensible virgin or do you want to be locked out as a foolish, senseless virgin? The choice is yours to make!
Unfortunately, the devil has put a lot of distractions on the path of the world to distract them from this truth! And of such is the celebration of this evil called St. Valentine's Day! Do you think if the Trumpet of God sounds while you are celebrating this, you will go with Him? You may argue that your celebration is in Church, or it is godly! But the question is, can you eat from the table of demons and still eat from the table of God and claim it is for God? Has God run out of ideas on how we are to celebrate Him as LOVE?
Many are saying in their heart it does not matter! Hmmm...every backsliding and compromise begins from the heart! No wonder this celebration has the heart as its symbol! Beloved, track and stop the 'strange beginnings' of your heart so that it does not stop you from entering into your destiny and reigning with the LORD Jesus Christ when He returns! As the Midnight Cry has gone forth, Wisdom cries out: "Whoever is inexperienced, enter here!” To the one who lacks sense, she says, “Come, eat my bread, and drink the wine I have mixed. Leave inexperience behind, and you will live; pursue the way of understanding" (Proverbs 9:4-6, HCSB). God bless you as you live, prepare and watch out for His appearing! Maranatha!
