His Coming Is SURE!

As days progress, there are so many in the Body of Christ that believe the Coming of Christ to take the Saints will not happen soon, in fact, they believe it will not happen in this century. They erroneously believe that despite Apostles Paul and Peter's writings about it, it never happened and it will not happen for many centuries to come. Sadly, many have bought into this teaching and believe it is time to let down their guards and live as they desire or wish to.
The 3rd chapter of 2Peter dealt extensively with this dangerous and erroneous thought! Many in the days of the Apostles jeered and mocked at the teaching of His Return: "First of all, know [without any doubt] that mockers will come in the last days with their mocking, following after their own human desires and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming [what has become of it]? For ever since the fathers fell asleep [in death], all things have continued [exactly] as they did from the beginning of creation” (2 Peter 3:3-4, AMP).
Let's look at some of the salient points of the chapter! As we do this, please bear at the back of your mind this Scripture: "Every human being is appointed to die once, and then to face God’s judgment" (Hebrews 9:27, TPT). The judgment here is 'a court trial', and it carries either one of two sentences: eternity with God or eternity without Him! This means, there are no do-overs after a person dies. Such do not get to live multiple lives to right the wrong such may have done in a previous life. Once a person's eyes close in death, such will open them to face the summary judgment of the Almighty God, the Creator of the Universe! The person's life choices and lifestyle will either earn the person a place with God (in Heaven) or a place with the devil in Hell! There is no waiting room! With this in mind, it then follows that the day a person 'dies', that is "the promise of His coming" for that soul! Now, that should be more of a concern than the one that everyone alive would see Him and receive His just judgment!
The Bible tells us that the day will be like when a thief comes to rob a home. Remember, such a thief does not give a warning; the onus is on the owner of the home to be prepared for such. The particular coming being described in 2Peter 3 is a summary judgment on the whole earth and its systems! AND IT WILL HAPPEN! However, it will not be a good idea to be against God when this will be happening as all who are will perish! How, you may ask? The LORD destroyed by water the first world and this second one will be destroyed by fire. Pray tell, if the first one happened, why do you think the second will not happen? As sons of God we should not be concerned about this but be concerned that when He comes, we will be ready to be with Him, at His side! Because it will be a dangerous and eternally deadly thing to be on His judgment Path!
We were warned: "Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:8-9, AMP).
Therefore, Beloved, do not buy into the nonsense and deadly teaching that His coming is not now or in this century. His coming for you and I could be today, tomorrow, or in the next hour. Therefore, we must be ready and prepared so as not to spend eternity in regret and profound sorrow: "So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him]" (2 Peter 3:14, AMP). God bless you as you turn or return your heart to Him. Maranatha!

The Quarry Site Experience

Have you ever visited a quarry site and considered the process the rocks are subjected to before they become dressed stones to be used? If the stones could talk they will have a story to tell about their experiences.  As children of God we go through diverse experiences and we wonder if we will indeed survive them. Sometimes we wonder why our gracious and compassionate Father would allow such to befall us considering who we are in Him and what we are doing in His vineyard.  The Scripture that should readily come to our minds in such circumstances is God’s assurance when He said: “I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire and the flame will not burn you ” (Isaiah 43:2). This Scripture assures us that through the experiences of flames and waters, God is always by our side to see us through.  Thus, it is necessary for us to go through the...

Daily Walk With The LORD

As we await the imminent return of the LORD Jesus Christ, we enter a time of great exposure and blessing. All that had been hidden will be revealed, all that had been a lie will be exposed, and those who can discern these things and make adjustments to their lives will be greatly blessed in this time!        As the Church Age draws to a close, we see and understand the Scriptures more clearly by the Help of the Holy Spirit, as we see Scriptures literary play out before our eyes. These are the times we must strengthen our resolve to serve Him more dearly and follow Him more closely. Failure to do this is to fall into all manner of errors orchestrated by the devil through his agents to derail as many from the path of righteousness and eternal life in Christ Jesus.         Many strange but carefully crafted teachings are flooding the pulpits and airwaves to distract, confuse and steal the hearts of children of God from...

...And His Name Was Nabal

We live in a world that has short-term memory. The memory life span of many is so short, that mistakes and circumstances that brought them sorrow are repeated without a thought to the fact that what they are doing they had done before with dire consequences. As a result of this attitude, many have grown more wilful towards the things of God. One of the signs of the end time, according to 2 Timothy 3, is people being ungrateful. Being ungrateful means not showing gratitude for help, gifts or kindness they received; a feeling of entitlement to whatever they think they have received.         Being ungrateful is a state of mind that believes that the good things that happen to them is deserving, and they do not see any reason to be thankful for them. So was the case of a man named Nabal (which means 'Fool') in the Bible. He was a harsh and evil man in his dealings, yet a very wealthy man in the region he lived in. From the account of his l...
