We are sometimes buffeted by certain
winds of life that make us stressed, worried and fearful. These winds no matter
how long they last blow away the confidence of so many. Many later realize that
fear and worry has become second nature to them and they transport these same
feelings into all that they do. A little voice constantly gives them a reason
to be fearful and worrisome about their circumstances. This voice is no
respecter of persons! The end result is that a lot become timid, unsure of themselves
and their faith. They constantly seek validation and approval of their friends,
families, bosses, spouses and colleagues in order to feel relevant. Friend,
this is not of God. They mask the timidity with shyness. There is a need to
shut out that voice once and for all so you can be who you have been created to
be. As a child of God, one thing you must be confident about is that God is at
work in you to will and to do of His great pleasure (Philippians 2:13). From
the day you said yes to the Lord, “…He who has begun a good work in you will
complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). Therefore, remind
yourself of this on a daily basis. God is in control of your life and your
approval is not dependent upon any human but upon God Himself (2Timothy 2:15).
Remind yourself, friend that God has been there from the very beginning and the
conclusion of the matter will bring Him greater glory as long as you remain in
Him. Walk deliberately in this faith and see God do wonders on your behalf. Let
go of worry and timidity they are not the qualities of a true child of God.
Just as our Father is fearless and bold so are we on this earth in Jesus Name.
You are free from all that has held your mind bound in Jesus Christ Name. God
bless you.
Have you ever visited a quarry site and considered the process the rocks are subjected to before they become dressed stones to be used? Sometimes we wonder why our gracious and compassionate Father would allow such to befall us considering who we are in Him and what we are doing in His vineyard. The Scripture that should readily come to our minds in such circumstances is God’s assurance when He said: “I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire and the flame will not burn you ” (Isaiah 43:2). This Scripture assures us that through the experiences of flames and waters, God is always by our side to see us through. Thus, it is necessary for us to go through the...
