A Lie Exposed! Part 2

Someone once said God yielded a bit of His sovereignty to man that is why we have freewill and can do whatever we want; after all we have brains and wisdom, he argued. That is a very faulty, deceptive and dangerous assumption. When God created mankind, He made us His ambassadors, deputy authorities, and deputy sovereigns upon the face of the earth. He told man to have dominion over every life form on the earth and subdue it. Man had his marching orders and mode of operation, he didn’t need the permission of God to operate. That was why man could name the animals without seeking permission from God to see if the names fit! The Bible says: “…And whatever the man called a living creature that was its name” (Genesis 2:19b). Even when the female came, the male part of man named her ‘woman’ because she was taken out of man. God did not dispute this. In fact God approved everything man did because man was speaking out the mind of God at every turn. Remember, man was deputy to God!
But man was tricked by the devil he was meant to subdue, and he lost his place in the scheme of things. When this happened, the position of man was taken by the devil and man became powerless, a shadow of whom he should be. Hence God had to come to reclaim that order back for man and redeem man to Himself (restoring the Fellowship He had with man in the Garden in the beginning).
Beloved, after the fall of man, things changed. Flesh began to rule man. Man no longer had the authority and dominion to do his work. Now, the authority and dominion can only be exercised through Jesus Christ. That was why man was told: “If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it” (John 14:14). Jesus Christ now stands as an intermediary or shield if you will, between man and the enemy. Therefore, man no longer have the absolute freedom to do as he pleases and still hope to reign with God: “…And those who are in the flesh [living a life that caters to sinful appetites and impulses] cannot please God” (Romans 8:8, AMP). Only those who live according to His dictates can please Him and reign with Him at the end.
Beloved, the rules changed because of the happenings of Genesis 3. Now man needs to seek out the will of God and do it. Don’t be deceived, our freedom is not reckless abandonment because of the fallen state of man, but a freedom that comes with responsibility in Christ Jesus! When we know and agree with this Truth we are free from the deceit of the enemy that seeks to enslave us and blind us to his shenanigans! We need to be acquainted even more so now with the Truth because of the great deception wind that is sweeping across the world. It is increasingly becoming difficult to discern the truth from the falsehood being peddled by the enemy and his agents.
Beloved, we now live in a time when the true sons (male and female) of God must stand up and be used on their different platforms to increase the knowledge of God across the globe. The enemy knows his time is short and he is equally pushing to cover the earth with his deception. This is the time we must see beyond the so obvious, and see what God is saying and doing in these times, so as to pray it into reality: “Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10)! These are indeed the times we must KNOW by experience the God we claim to serve and not a version of what we think we know based on what we had been taught. It is ONLY when we KNOW Him in this manner are we able to fulfill the purpose why we are here. Understand this, like Esther, we have been put in the place we are, doing what we are doing for a time like this: “…But the people who know their God will be strong and take action” (Daniel 11:32b). So, STAND UP, Trust Him and begin to walk in, through and for Him – ASK Him, He will show you how; He is only a Prayer away! God bless you.

You Are What Matters Most To Jesus Christ

"When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; Walk [habitually] before Me [with integrity, knowing that you are always in My presence], and be blameless and complete [in obedience to Me]" (Genesis 17:1, AMP).        A while back, I overheard a conversation between two young men; both were wondering how a person can be and remain holy in a world that daily encourages you to exhibit and enjoy every self-indulgent pleasure one desires. Of course, they knew the Scripture in Psalm 119:9-11, which describes how a young man can keep his way pure, but they feel it is increasingly becoming difficult to discern the way of the Lord from the world system. To them, many Pastors and children of God have been won over by the kingdom of darkness to subvert the principles of God as written in the Bible.           They were not wrong, in light of some of the teaching coming from the pulpits! The above ...

Finding True Love

From the beginning of time, God Almighty has sought various means of communicating His thoughts and desires to humanity. Through the very things He has created around us, He clearly reveals His divine nature and our predestined purposes as the object of His love to those who care enough to pay attention.  His goal has always been to set men free from all that limits them from experiencing an abundant life. There is no doubt that the present life as we know it, with all its hurts, pains and heartbreak was never meant to be this way; indeed the enemy has done this.         Friends, if He created the earth with hidden and precious treasures, then how much more you? The enemy, on the other hand, has worked overtime to create things that bind, blind, limit, and ultimately stop us from fulfilling our God-given destinies. His most successful strategies are those which are subtle and appeal to our fleshly desires, just as...

The Perverted Love Of St Valentine's Day

We live in a world where those who suppress the truth have the loudest voices. They are more persuasive in their arguments because their arguments sound logical and well-reasoned. However, the fact that an argument is loud and logical does not necessarily mean it is the truth. At the same time, the fact that an argument is loud and logical does not mean it is of God. So many claim they do not care where it originates from, but they agree with and have bought into its message. If that is your stance, then you need to hear this because what you believe and have bought into is a lie. Remember, ignorance is not bliss but a dangerous position to occupy as many ‘ignorants’ abound in hell!        The argument for celebrating St. Valentine's Day is loud and sounds logical but it is not the truth, nor is it of God! It is not of God because the love that Jesus Christ portrays carries within it the responsibility of self-sacrifice whilst that o...
