Hold On

       There is so much noise in the world and its systems that it seems to be drowning out the voice of reason, the voice of God! The things being pushed now by the mainstream media and their followers sound and look incredulous just a couple of years ago. Glaringly bad things are being reclothed and rebranded as good. And the world is getting away with it as well! 
       A couple of days ago, I was having a chat with a sister who was wondering if God still speaks amid this hellish noise from the world and its systems. Beloved, God is speaking and still is, but can you hear Him? In fact, for the spiritually discerning, the voice of the LORD is loud in these times for as many that would listen! Many believe He is no longer speaking because of the wickedness of the world. Others believe the voice of the world and its systems have drowned out His voice. Don't be deceived, God is still speaking! He is giving instructions to as many of His that would hear and listen! 
       It is not enough to hear Him, one must listen by paying careful attention. His Word is Wisdom! It carries within the instruction(s) we need to live a victorious life in a dark and decadent world! As a child of God, you might be saying you cannot hear Him because of what you are going through. Many in this state have given up on Him to help them out of their predicament. The Sister I was speaking to earlier feels God has shut the heavens against mankind and has left us to our own devices in the light of what she was going through, and what she sees happening around her. When I disagreed with her; she retorted, 'If He had not, I have done everything He had asked of me, why then would He not answer my request all these years I have been praying for it?' 
        In Isaiah 28:23-29, God tells us about His working pattern in us by using the analogy of a farmer. But He tells us to not only hear His voice concerning this, but we must pay careful attention to it. Meaning we should ponder His words carefully: "Listen and hear my voice; Listen carefully and hear my words" (Isaiah 28:23, AMP). The Scripture went on: "Does the plowman plow every day to plant seed? Does he continuously break up and cultivate the soil" (Isaiah 28:24, HCSB)? A farmer doesn't only plow, he knows when to stop, when to level the ground, when to sow, what to sow and how: "When he has leveled its surface, Does he not sow [the seed of] dill and scatter cumin, And plant wheat in rows, And barley in its [intended] place and rye within its border? For his God instructs [him correctly] and teaches him properly" (Isaiah 28:25-26, AMP). 
       When it is harvest time, the farmer uses different tools at different times on each of the harvested produce so as not to destroy them. For instance, he knows which would require beating with a rod, threshing with a threshing board, rolling with a cartwheel, or crushing with a crusher; and he knows when to stop so as not to destroy the produce. In the same way, God knows what instruments to use in our lives and when to use them: "And at the harvest, the delicate herbs and spices, the dill and cumin, are treated delicately. On the other hand, wheat is threshed and milled, but still not endlessly. The farmer knows how to treat each kind of grain. He’s learned it all from God-of-the-Angel-Armies, who knows everything about when and how and where" (Isaiah 28:27-29, MSG). 
        Beloved, we don't have to doubt or despair at what the LORD is doing in our lives because He is the Expert Farmer, working on and in us in His wisdom! He always knows the proper instrument, procedure, and the appropriate time to accomplish His purpose in our lives. Beloved do not despair. Believe Him, trust Him, knowing that He will accomplish His purpose for your life. That which you are looking unto Him for, because He has promised you, it doesn't matter what the world and its systems are yelling into your ears, when you are ready He will give it to you; and you will be glad you waited! You may argue that others are getting their miracles, so why is yours delaying? Look at the Scripture again; the time and instrument used on each of the produce differed from each other. True, it is one farmland, one farmer, same spot or area, but the produce and their uses differ from each other: "This also comes from the Lord of Hosts. He gives wonderful advice; He gives great wisdom" (Isaiah 28:29, HCSB). 
        Do not despair, do not give up on the LORD Jesus Christ, He promised, He would see to it that it is DONE, and those that mocked you will rejoice with you, and declare your God is God, and He is faithful! Hold on and be encouraged, you will shout out in Praise and Thanksgiving! "Do not, therefore, fling away your [fearless] confidence, for it has a glorious and great reward. For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised" (Hebrews 10:35-36, AMP). The grace to stand and remain strong as you wait is released to you, in Jesus Christ name, Amen! God bless you!

       This decade opened with very dire straits for mankind, as many people around the world woke up to a world that stood still as each nation shut their borders, homes and institutions shutting their doors. It Is Time To Raise A Cry For Nigeria!

  "The voice said, “Cry out!” And he said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is grass, And all its loveliness is like the flower of the field.
