The Consolation

If there is someone the world loves to hate is Jesus Christ. Since creation, I beg to submit that the most controversial personality that has ever lived is Jesus Christ. Even though it has been proven that He lived, died and rose again with many eye witness reports at the time and present archaeological finds that proves His existence; yet many do all manner of things to disparage His deity, even archaeology and modern science had been employed in this act. In fact, trying to disprove His existence and deity has become a money making venture in the literary and movie industry. Unfortunately, the more the world tries, the more the world is made painfully aware that Jesus Christ did live, walked upon the earth, died and rose again. And whether the world approves or not, He is coming back again! As children of God we should not be worried about the blasphemies, blackmailing and heresies that are been spread about Him because they were all foretold by God in the Scriptures – Luke 2:34, “Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, ‘Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against…’” Indeed His birth and coming into this world to this day has accounted for the fall and rise of many people and nations around the world through the ages. All that had been employed to disprove His deity or existence are all distractions to take the focus of people whom He came and died for from Him to mundane, baseless and false beliefs and lifestyles. So many like Simeon has been waiting for consolation for all that life had thrown at them, unfortunately, so many unlike Simeon go to their graves without seeing or receiving it. No wonder it is said that the grave is filled with bodies of unfulfilled dreams and destinies. Just as Simeon saw and declared, so you too must see and believe that Jesus Christ has come to give you succour and save you from the onslaught of this maddening world. Are you going through life’s challenges and feeling tired? Please don’t give up, your salvation is right in front of you, reach out to Him and you will find rest for your soul. It is not about confession without any iota of belief in your heart but all that is required is as simple as believing that He is the Light that will bring revelation and direction to your life. Resting and assured in Him that all that concerns you have been taken care of. Friend, the desire of God for your life is not for you to close your eyes in death and not see and experience this wonderful gift He has sent to you. Open your eyes, reach out your arms and claim this wonderful gift that is able to save and restore your soul and your life will never be the same again. Do you need revelation and direction for your life? He is waiting for you, all you have to do is sincerely ask Him and He will answer you. God bless you.

You Are What Matters Most To Jesus Christ

"When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; Walk [habitually] before Me [with integrity, knowing that you are always in My presence], and be blameless and complete [in obedience to Me]" (Genesis 17:1, AMP).        A while back, I overheard a conversation between two young men; both were wondering how a person can be and remain holy in a world that daily encourages you to exhibit and enjoy every self-indulgent pleasure one desires. Of course, they knew the Scripture in Psalm 119:9-11, which describes how a young man can keep his way pure, but they feel it is increasingly becoming difficult to discern the way of the Lord from the world system. To them, many Pastors and children of God have been won over by the kingdom of darkness to subvert the principles of God as written in the Bible.           They were not wrong, in light of some of the teaching coming from the pulpits! The above ...

Finding True Love

From the beginning of time, God Almighty has sought various means of communicating His thoughts and desires to humanity. Through the very things He has created around us, He clearly reveals His divine nature and our predestined purposes as the object of His love to those who care enough to pay attention.  His goal has always been to set men free from all that limits them from experiencing an abundant life. There is no doubt that the present life as we know it, with all its hurts, pains and heartbreak was never meant to be this way; indeed the enemy has done this.         Friends, if He created the earth with hidden and precious treasures, then how much more you? The enemy, on the other hand, has worked overtime to create things that bind, blind, limit, and ultimately stop us from fulfilling our God-given destinies. His most successful strategies are those which are subtle and appeal to our fleshly desires, just as...

The Perverted Love Of St Valentine's Day

We live in a world where those who suppress the truth have the loudest voices. They are more persuasive in their arguments because their arguments sound logical and well-reasoned. However, the fact that an argument is loud and logical does not necessarily mean it is the truth. At the same time, the fact that an argument is loud and logical does not mean it is of God. So many claim they do not care where it originates from, but they agree with and have bought into its message. If that is your stance, then you need to hear this because what you believe and have bought into is a lie. Remember, ignorance is not bliss but a dangerous position to occupy as many ‘ignorants’ abound in hell!        The argument for celebrating St. Valentine's Day is loud and sounds logical but it is not the truth, nor is it of God! It is not of God because the love that Jesus Christ portrays carries within it the responsibility of self-sacrifice whilst that o...
