Get Ready!

The days of carelessness and unconcerned attitudes to the happenings around us has passed; so many have grown hard and callous hearts towards these happenings. Unbeknownst to them, these very things are beginning to affect them one way or another. We are warned to “Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk – not as unwise people but as wise – making the most of the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16. Friend, except we want to deceive ourselves the days are indeed evil and we know time is running out to the Coming of the Lord to rapture the saints. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no good news and the consciences of even the children of God are beginning to get use to this evil. There is a need to be cautious and come to the side of the Lord against this evil trend. Yes, the fact that you are heaven bound is not in dispute, but what about your colleagues, neighbors, friends, family, where are they heading? Maybe you are afraid to speak what you could hear God say; it might be what He is saying sounds so frightening and shocking and you are not set to lose friends, reputation and respect. As a result, you have kept your mouth shut and turned a blind eye to the happenings. Friend, the days for the trumpets of the Most High God to make a resounding sound concerning the happenings and to alert the world has come. Will you be one of the trumpets of this end time or you would rather remain silent? What differentiates a wise person from a foolish one in this times is how they respond to the word of God. There is so much distortion in the messages from the pulpits, if we as sons of the Most High God refuse to oppose this onslaught of distortions the consequences will be dire indeed. We do not need to look any further for the consequences all we have to do is look around us. Sin and iniquity has taken centre stage and has become a norm in our congregations and things that are clearly not sanctioned by the Lord are explained away with Scriptures! Ministers are afraid of losing their congregations and so sugar coat the word and make it unproductive in the lives of the people. Some of us may reason that we need to make the word simple so everyone can come in and be ‘comfortable’. Jesus Christ did not come with a word of comfort for men to feel secure in lives that are a reproach to His Father. If it were our time, we would have found a way to rebuke the Lord for such hard words against the Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes in Matthew 23. The Lord tells us in Jeremiah 1:17-19 “Now, get ready. Stand up and tell them everything that I command you. Do not be intimidated by them or I will cause you to cower before them. Today, I am the One who has made you a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land – against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the population. They will fight against you but never prevail over you, since I am with you to rescue you. This is the Lord’s declaration.” We must stand up and declare EXACTLY what God is declaring to us! We have been forewarned that the world and even brethren will fight against us as we declare the undiluted truth of God’s Word, but He promises to be with us because He is the One sending us. When we become highly exalted in the eyes of the people of the world by this message, something is grossly wrong. Have you not read in the Scriptures that Christ was rejected? He told us not to worry if we are rejected, they rejected Him first! Why then are we seeking acceptance from a world that has been darkened and overtaken by evil? However, when we declare His truth, His light will permeate the world and the darkness will not be able to overcome it. We are not called into a popularity contest but called to declare the praises (WORD) of He that has called us from the darkness of this world into His marvelous light. Therefore, GET READY and begin to declare His UNDILUTED TRUTH to His glory for the days are evil and time is far spent! God bless you as you arise!!!

You Are What Matters Most To Jesus Christ

"When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; Walk [habitually] before Me [with integrity, knowing that you are always in My presence], and be blameless and complete [in obedience to Me]" (Genesis 17:1, AMP).        A while back, I overheard a conversation between two young men; both were wondering how a person can be and remain holy in a world that daily encourages you to exhibit and enjoy every self-indulgent pleasure one desires. Of course, they knew the Scripture in Psalm 119:9-11, which describes how a young man can keep his way pure, but they feel it is increasingly becoming difficult to discern the way of the Lord from the world system. To them, many Pastors and children of God have been won over by the kingdom of darkness to subvert the principles of God as written in the Bible.           They were not wrong, in light of some of the teaching coming from the pulpits! The above ...

Finding True Love

From the beginning of time, God Almighty has sought various means of communicating His thoughts and desires to humanity. Through the very things He has created around us, He clearly reveals His divine nature and our predestined purposes as the object of His love to those who care enough to pay attention.  His goal has always been to set men free from all that limits them from experiencing an abundant life. There is no doubt that the present life as we know it, with all its hurts, pains and heartbreak was never meant to be this way; indeed the enemy has done this.         Friends, if He created the earth with hidden and precious treasures, then how much more you? The enemy, on the other hand, has worked overtime to create things that bind, blind, limit, and ultimately stop us from fulfilling our God-given destinies. His most successful strategies are those which are subtle and appeal to our fleshly desires, just as...

The Perverted Love Of St Valentine's Day

We live in a world where those who suppress the truth have the loudest voices. They are more persuasive in their arguments because their arguments sound logical and well-reasoned. However, the fact that an argument is loud and logical does not necessarily mean it is the truth. At the same time, the fact that an argument is loud and logical does not mean it is of God. So many claim they do not care where it originates from, but they agree with and have bought into its message. If that is your stance, then you need to hear this because what you believe and have bought into is a lie. Remember, ignorance is not bliss but a dangerous position to occupy as many ‘ignorants’ abound in hell!        The argument for celebrating St. Valentine's Day is loud and sounds logical but it is not the truth, nor is it of God! It is not of God because the love that Jesus Christ portrays carries within it the responsibility of self-sacrifice whilst that o...
