Behold, He comes quickly!!!

If you have irrefutable proof that Heaven and Hell is real and you have a choice as to where to go after your stay here on earth is over, what would you do and which would you choose? The Bible tells us that we are pilgrims and strangers upon the face of the earth. This presupposes that we came from a particular place, on a particular day on our way to a particular destination. From the Scriptures we are made to understand that the destination of a man after living on earth is made whilst the man is still living on the earth. While on earth, a man has a conscious choice to choose where his final destination will be. The mystics, Nay-Sayers and hard line atheists may say or claim otherwise. The truth is man is on his way somewhere and someplace. You may claim that science has proven that man came as a result of evolution. Beautiful! But, question: How come man is yet to evolve from the present state? Or you could argue that it is easy to know where one is going since it is a matter of either being good or bad; thus the choice will be easy to make. Unfortunately, that is simply not true. The hindrance to choose wisely was foretold when God said in Genesis 1:28 “Then God blessed them and God said to them ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth’”. The emphasis (mine) goes to show that something is set to stop man from making the right choice of where to spend eternity if he does not subdue it. This means in order to subdue it, there is a pattern of life he must live “Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard, so that you are not led away by the error of the immoral and fall from your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen” (2Peter 3:17-18). The crux of the matter is whether we like it, prepared or not each man has an appointment with death in order to proceed to the life after.
This may sound daunting to you after-all there is so much you intend to ‘get’ in this world. Good, who says you cannot get them if Jesus Christ tarries? God expects that as you go about your business, there are two important aspects you must be aware of for the safety of your soul: your daily walk with Him and your walk with your fellow men. What does this mean you may ask after-all, it will be disastrous to gain the whole world and lose one’s soul? It is simple: Jesus Christ told the Pharisee in Matthew 22: 37-40 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.” (Emphasis mine). No matter how much we yell and scream that we are serving God if the principles above are not followed, there is no way, we can please God. With these statements, you should think you are home free; however, there is an ingredient that binds them together to make a whole without which they will fall apart. Unfortunately, this ingredient had been the stumbling block to many: “Pursue peace with all people and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14)! Right on Point! ‘Holiness’ is not something you work for or you get by ‘looking and dressing’ in a particular manner! Holiness - you can only get when you walk in a continual and consistent fellowship with God, He then imputes it to you! Only when you are in a consistent and continual relationship with God can you be able to pursue peace with all people because God Himself will teach you how. God said to king Asa “…The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.” (2Chronicles 15:2b). This simply means, if you seek the Lord, you will not only find Him, He will equally help you!
Friend, the times we live is truly the times that is difficult to be a child of God according to 2Timothy 3. However, no person will have an excuse to leave this earth and end in hell. God had made it possible for you to hear His word and take a decision today to live a life that is pleasing to Him and He will help you by His mercy to reign with Him. The coming of Jesus Christ cannot be disrupted or refuted rather it is the timing that is the question. And He says He is ready to come! Jesus told His disciples to be particularly mindful the manner of life they live because that is what will either qualify or disqualify them. Jesus Christ is almost here, how is your heart? Are you in a continual relationship with Him or you are just having an outward display of a form of religion? Jesus told the Pharisees “Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs which appear beautiful on the outside but inside are full of dead men’s bones and every impurity. In the same way, on the outside you seem righteous to people but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness” (Matthew 23: 27-28). If your inside is clean, God will take care of your outside. How? You will realize that some things that look normal to the rest of the world you can’t just bring yourself to do, eat or wear them: “Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless and with great joy…” (Jude 24). However if your outside is clean and your inside is dirty – Hell is waiting! And if your inside is ‘clean’ and your outside is still worldly (we cannot differentiate you from those of the world), something is grossly wrong with your inside and Hell is waiting! Repent, turn away from worthless idols and clean out your threshing floor because: BEHOLD, HE COMES! You MUST make it because hell was not made for humans but for the devil! Rise up from the deadness of the world into the marvelous Light of our Savior and SOON COMING KING! God bless you.

You Are What Matters Most To Jesus Christ

"When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; Walk [habitually] before Me [with integrity, knowing that you are always in My presence], and be blameless and complete [in obedience to Me]" (Genesis 17:1, AMP).        A while back, I overheard a conversation between two young men; both were wondering how a person can be and remain holy in a world that daily encourages you to exhibit and enjoy every self-indulgent pleasure one desires. Of course, they knew the Scripture in Psalm 119:9-11, which describes how a young man can keep his way pure, but they feel it is increasingly becoming difficult to discern the way of the Lord from the world system. To them, many Pastors and children of God have been won over by the kingdom of darkness to subvert the principles of God as written in the Bible.           They were not wrong, in light of some of the teaching coming from the pulpits! The above ...

Finding True Love

From the beginning of time, God Almighty has sought various means of communicating His thoughts and desires to humanity. Through the very things He has created around us, He clearly reveals His divine nature and our predestined purposes as the object of His love to those who care enough to pay attention.  His goal has always been to set men free from all that limits them from experiencing an abundant life. There is no doubt that the present life as we know it, with all its hurts, pains and heartbreak was never meant to be this way; indeed the enemy has done this.         Friends, if He created the earth with hidden and precious treasures, then how much more you? The enemy, on the other hand, has worked overtime to create things that bind, blind, limit, and ultimately stop us from fulfilling our God-given destinies. His most successful strategies are those which are subtle and appeal to our fleshly desires, just as...

The Perverted Love Of St Valentine's Day

We live in a world where those who suppress the truth have the loudest voices. They are more persuasive in their arguments because their arguments sound logical and well-reasoned. However, the fact that an argument is loud and logical does not necessarily mean it is the truth. At the same time, the fact that an argument is loud and logical does not mean it is of God. So many claim they do not care where it originates from, but they agree with and have bought into its message. If that is your stance, then you need to hear this because what you believe and have bought into is a lie. Remember, ignorance is not bliss but a dangerous position to occupy as many ‘ignorants’ abound in hell!        The argument for celebrating St. Valentine's Day is loud and sounds logical but it is not the truth, nor is it of God! It is not of God because the love that Jesus Christ portrays carries within it the responsibility of self-sacrifice whilst that o...
