Re-Direct

That you love the Lord no one can dispute that. You have tried and are trying to please the Lord but you seemed worn out and you know something is missing because you are not meant to be worn out serving God. Have you stopped to think you might be trying to serve Him based on your own strength? It is time to let go and enjoy Him by serving Him on His own terms and conditions. Friend as you do this, the blessings of serving Him is released and evidenced in your life. Psalm 84:5-7 says “Happy are the people whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the valley of Baca, they make it a source of spring water; even the autumn rain will cover it with blessings. They go from strength to strength; each appears before God in Zion.” This Scripture points out to us that on a daily basis we are supposed to grow in our knowledge and devotion to the Lord. As we do this, His strength is released to us to excel in every sphere of our lives. Unfortunately, the world is equally committed to making sure we don’t live like this. The Bible says a man who is devoted to seeking God out on a daily basis is blessed and his strength is in the Lord. Let’s back up a little bit! The enemy cannot have a hold on us if he does not have a legal ground to operate around us. Friend, what exactly is your goal on a daily basis? No matter how much we pursue the comforts of this world, we must not let our hearts drift from the most important issue, which is the pursuit of the knowledge of God with a devoted heart: a heart set on a pilgrimage to seek Him daily. You might argue that we are plagued on every side not to live this holy, pristine or devoted life to the Lord; in fact you may ask: who can? The truth is the world and its god are not interested in your growth and welfare; all it seeks to do is to corrupt, contaminate your walk with the Lord as much as it can. And if possible, cut you short from the standard of God! But a heart that trusts wholly in God for strength, the Bible says walks through dry and parched lands and they will become source of spring waters; even the autumn rains will cover it with blessings. This simply means those places and areas of your life that had been a source of pain, weeping and frustration, the Lord says will become places of refreshing. Blessings that you felt were late or forgotten the Lord will cause these same blessings to rain and fill you, such that you will indeed be blessed on every side. Friend, that which is causing you so much pain yet you are serving the Lord will become a source of joy in Jesus Christ Name. However, there must be an eagerness in your heart to know Him, not because of what you will get but the pleasure and joy you will derive from knowing Him! Indeed: "Taste and see that the Lord is good. How happy is the man who takes refuge in Him." Psalm 34:8. God bless you!
